About Valley Project 2019

Dear Students and Parents,
We would like to invite Calvary students to participate in our summer local missions project called, Valley Project. Through experiences like Valley Project, students gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a part of the kingdom of God and living out their faith in the world around them. We are excited about giving them opportunities for hands-on ministry experiences and missions teaching. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Marcus Rodriguez
Pastor for Families with Students
Calvary Baptist Church

What is Valley Project? The Valley Project is a local missions project for Calvary students. Students will participate in a one-week missions-intensive that will include hands-on missions experiences (vbs, backyard Bible club, and other ministry projects). Students will also participate in missions teaching/Bible studies and worship throughout the week. Valley Project exists to train future leaders through the local church where Biblical knowledge, Christ-like character, and ministry skills are developed in a missional environment. It is a week for students to be equipped by teaching them what it means to live missional lives focused on the glory and kingdom of God.

What are Valley Project dates? August 4-9

*Where will students stay? * Throughout the entire Valley Project week, we will use Calvary as our home base. We will use the church facilities for worship, teaching, eating, sleeping and other activities. We will have separate and secure sleeping areas with adult leaders for boys and girls.

How much does Valley Project cost? The cost for Valley Project is $50. This covers food expenses and a team water bottle.

How do I sign up for Valley Project? Valley Project is open to students who have completed grades 7-12. After the application is turned in, students will be given detailed registration and schedule for the week. We have a limit of 30 students for Valley Project!

What if I need to be away during Valley Project? At times students need to miss a portion of Valley Project due to a school commitment, drivers-ed, etc. Registration priority will be given to students that can attend ALL of Valley Project. After that, registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. We have a limit of 30 students for Valley Project!
